The Annual GSA Winter Forum, January 11-12, 2014 at the Atlanta Marriott Perimeter will offer CME credits focused on a variety of topics including: non-opioid anesthesia, TEE basics, anesthesia for complex spinal procedures, best practices for blood product management, and pain mechanism physiology.

This event will provide a wonderful opportunity for Anesthesiologist Assistants to network with Georgia Anesthesiologists, and participate in educational seminars aimed at providing best practice within the anesthesia care team model. Due to the recent joint membership agreement between the GAAA and GSA, members will realize the great benefit of access to quality AMA educational credits at the Winter Forum.

In addition, the GAAA will be hosting a Legislative Workshop, Sunday January 12, 2014, to educate our members of the most effective means of professional advocacy, and are honored to have Senator Chuck Hufstetler, AA-C as a guest speaker. This workshop will host a panel discussion addressing the current legislative issues affecting AAs in Georgia, and will include the GAAA legislative speaking points in preparation for our 1st AA Day at the Capitol in early 2014.
